Is the sore loser law constitutional?
To: onyx
Sarah was the most pissed off I have ever seen her and who can blame her. This seat was OURS and this guy makes 1 idiotic statement and ruins everything. Since I have read that both Steelman and Brunner both cant run because of the “loser law”(At first I thought that was made up, never heard of a law like that before) some people were suggesting Ann Wagner, said she would be a perfect choice, what do you all think?
To: onyx
Sarah was extremely passionate tonight about the importsnce of this race and that it was time for Akin to bow out, for the good of the country, so the Senate could be won.
So much so, she could barely eke out a “Thank You” at the end, to Greta, without a catch in her throat.
Sarah suggested running Sarah Steelman as a third party candidate.

Sarah Palin calls on Akin to step aside, for the good of the agenda as she did in Alaska, and says if a third-party candidate
LIKE Sarah Steelman (common sense, pro-life, conservative) should run if he's not out by the late September deadline.
. Steelman can't run under MO law but when asked, Palin didn't call on her specifically TO run.
The full interview is also at the Daily Caller: Palin hints at backing third party candidate against Akin-McCaskill in Missouri Senate Will Sarah Palin change minds among the dozen or so Freepers who insist anyone calling on Akin to resign is a pro-abort liberal?
