When I go to the gun range and practice my shooting it is with the idea that it will better prepare me to shoot whitetail deer during November and December. What is a LEO preparing to hit when he or she goes to the range for target practice and qualifying? That time and those rounds are spent in preparation for shooting people. If my statement is "nonsensical" why do they often shoot silhouettes of people while I shoot silhouettes of deer?
So I guesss that they should not practice shooting at human forms, then? There are many justifiable shootings by law enforcement, and it is best they are trained to hit their target to lessen the chance of hitting bystanders. My point stands - the vast majority of LEO ammo goes to practice and qualifying.
