On Kudlow Ed Klein just claimed that 2 wks ago Jarrett offered Hillery VP slot (vanity)
(seen on CNBC's Kudlow program) | August 16, 2012 | self

Joe Klein (author of "The Amateur")said his sources in the Clinton camp told him that Jarrett invited Hillary to lunch two weeks ago and asked her if she would accept the VP slot to replace Biden. Hillary refused to encourage an offer.

Klein said that Bill and Jarrett (and it is assumed Michelle and Barry) were for it, but Hillary figured that if Obama lost, she would be finished and she wanted to preserve her options for 2016.

It appears Slick Willie’s wife didn’t want to work THAT CLOSE to the Kenyan. This may explain why she lives in the Middle East.

I heard Jeffery Kuhner of the Washington Times editorial page say the same thing on the radio here in DC this afternoon. Kuhner stated that Hillary had declined and that she and billyboy are expecting Obama to be defeated this November and she will ‘ride to the rescue of the democrate party in 2016’

“Hillary refused to encourage an offer”

Not the same as saying “no”

Palin’s surveillance bugs inside the regime must be providing good intel.

She’s leaking the leaks before the “official” leakers are leaking them.

It’s big fun to watch the Baraqqis (and their MSM cohorts) go down the drain.

I really don’t think Hillary will run in 2016. She’d be 69 years old then and unlike Reagan who was 69 when elected, Hillary looks every bit of her age. But you can be sure whoever does run on the Dem side will be picked and promoted by the Clintons.

They live for the day that Obama and his Chicagoland thugs go down and what’s left of their party comes crawling back to them. They can smugly say, “I told you so.”

Sounds good to me.

Lets just make sure the Kenyan is defeated this time. We can deal with her and the rest of the Arkansas Mafia next cycle.

Sorry Hillary, but you were already touched by the One. And he destroys everything he touches. No chance for you in 2016.

If it happened it wouldn’t have been two weeks ago. Changing the VP would have to be prepared far in advance, so as to avoid the impression of panic or incompetence.

Well, the boy-wonder, White House Press Secretary, Jay Carney, said today that Biden is definitely staying on the Ticket. He further said the John McCain was the last person they would take advice from re: a VP running mate.

I don't think the WH is going to hold the same allure for the aged Clintons in four years.

And she has a husband of questionable health who looks 10 years older then his age.

“Changing the VP would have to be prepared far in advance, so as to avoid the impression of panic or incompetence.”

Unless they really are panicking. We already know they are incompetent!

It just occurred to me that Romney said I made the VP pick on August 1st, two weeks ago. Given the opposition intel available to Barry, it may have been the selection of Ryan that prompted the offer to Hillary, knowing that Ryan could wipe the floor with Biden.

“Hillary looks every bit of her age.”

Surgery can cure that and make her look a lot younger.

As long as she doesn’t over do it like Pelosi has.

But, the Presidential race always starts two years early. So, in 2014, Hillary will be 66 (she won’t turn 67 until October of 2014)and it’s remarkable what make-up artists can do. Since becoming Sec. of State, she has just let herself go. She doesn’t even comb her hair. That will change if she runs. She’ll spruce up herself and look younger, more vibrant and even a little attractive.

“Not the same as saying ‘no’”

Kudlow pressed Klein on whether an actual offer was extended and Klein was careful to say that Jarrett only asked Hillary whether she would be open to an offer.

Klein said that Barry did not directly make the inquiry to Hillary because Barry was certain that Bill would leak it.

Klein also said that even if Barry won, Hillary as VP would be tarred by Barry's extreme leftist policies and would be forced to defend them...far more, I suppose, than she has been in the post of SOS.

“you can be sure whoever does run on the Dem side will be picked and promoted by the Clintons.”

Obama has got to have been the weakest weenie to ever ‘lead’ an american political party.

Good grief, imagine if Pelosi and Reid had let him ‘lead’ the country...

May have been told Barack would like to make her an offer if she would accept it, and she may have given Val a chance not to have to be told ‘no’ officially.

Sure, In an administration led by a competent adult...

Not that I put a lot of belief in this report, Joe would say anything for his Hillary and Billy.
