So what if she’s liberal. You know what you are going to get when you tune in to MSNBC like you know what you will get when you tune into Sean Hannity. I do not see what the big commotion is!

These cable networks are hybrids: there are the opinion shows, usually on at night, which are all about a point of view or party line. The daytime newscasters, though, aren't expected to be so opinionated -- or at least they weren't back in the old days (even though they were).

Nowadays, some people expect everyone on a network to express a party line and wouldn't be angry if a newscaster conformed to the pattern of the opinion shows, but old beliefs about the desirability of objective or unbiased reporting persist, even though reporting isn't objective and never was.

the problem is the dishonesty. MSNBC and CNN still maintain that they’re not liberal bias. They pretend to be fair and balance. If you tune into Hannity, he will often say he’s a Conservative
