Good evening.

The photo comes from the Washington Post? If so, why would the photographer contact you (as opposed to their attorney). The subject of the post is a government official, and it looks like the standard picture all government officials have taken for their position.

Seems this would fall under fair use. Maybe I'm missing something.

M Kehoe, I was told he took the photo for an Alumni magazine photo with the agreement that it would not be released. In this case it is a negative article and he wanted it down. He did say there was a cost involved, but he wasn’t interested in the money - just getting it down so it did not damage him with his client.

Was the WaPo article negative?

I removed it from my blog and replaced it with her ICE photo.
