I have seen that movie. Not only does it not “make light of rape”, it was one of the most horrifying scenes that I have ever seen. I tried to leave the theatre, but an usher stopped me at the door and begged me to stay. I stayed, but have never forgotten.

Many who were familiar with the movie tried to make that argument but she would not be swayed.

At the risk of proving myself a despicable human being, by the end of the movie I felt sympathy for the sociopath as he took a horrific beating from his former mates.

I must have missed that part. It was crude, yes, but it was rated R. It had sleezy scenes, but ‘rape’? Are you sure you were watching The Campaign?

Sorry, I just saw you were referring to a different movie.
