Tactically, they did not do something I was afraid they would do. What they should have done, which would have made things a lot uglier, was to call in their Democrat allies, such as the unions, as well as the fairly organized bunch that orchestrated the Occupy foolishness.

This was as much a Democrat party failure as it was a gay failure. That is, the Democrats are now putting the gay agenda into their party platform, so they really should have turned out in support of this harassment. That they failed to do so shows that homos are less important to them than other groups.

Previously, they have been quick to use SEIU thugs in support of other actions, so it was something of a surprise when they didn’t use them and others to support the homos.

Yes, good point.

However - and this really stunned me when I read the facebook posts - many of the Occupy crowd made it clear that they wanted nothing to do with the issue. How telling is that?
