Nope, never saw that. Very cool. Interestingly, though he talked about having the Parlor model in space, the guitars he was playing in the video were not Parlors. They appeared to be dreads. Parlors are very small, which explains why they would be chosen for the ISS where room is limited. But Parlors, by any manufacturer, are too small to get really good tone. Most Larrivee fans think the L series is the best. It's a little smaller than the dread (D series), but bigger than the Parlor, and provides a good mix between the boominess of a dread and the subtleness required for finger picking. I've found the dread to be great for both banging away and finger picking, though. If I'm only going to have one acoustic guitar, it's definitely going to be a dread.
Jean Larrivee, who founded the company, is Canadian. They have a factory in Canada and one in California.
