BUT it is the SOCIAL issues which make us human.

I will go one further. It's the social issues which make us conservative. Without a social underpinning, we do not always make differentiation between right and wrong. Our conservatism becomes one of convenience.

We know not to spend more than we take in because it's fiscally wrong. We know not to kill the unborn because murder is wrong. We know gay 'marriage' isn't palatable because homosexuality is wrong.

Too many politicians don't differentiate, but rather triangulate. They are a big reason why this country is in the mess it's in now.

A fiscal conservative becomes a RINO. The moral compass is not there, which is why so many of them have gone “soft”.

Followed your posts (plural) and I could not agree more with your thoughts. Being in uncharted territory is where our leaders have led. Conservatives struck a chord on Wednesday, August 1, 2012. When talking with my spouse on Wednesday we agreed lawsuits would soon start. It is begun. There will be no turning back time and the march forward took a hard right turn on Wednesday, August 1, 2012. The fear, on both the left and right, has reared its head of those who are Conservatives. Conservatives had been silent for too long and allowed the left and the rinos their time to enslave. The push back has begun. We are in uncharted territory because of the idiocy of the elected. May God and Heaven have mercy on us all, for the devil and hades will not.

Colonel, the strategy by the left and the rinos will be to further travel the path toward hades. If people do not know where we are headed, they are not paying attention. Many will welcome the time to come. I will fear it for my children and grandchildren, though in the course of things to be, it was to be. Good Luck everyone, and keep your powder dry.
