As a Gen-Xer I can safely say that having grown up thinking that a Soviet nuclear missile was going to explode above our heads any minute and turn us to dust, it's hard to get worked up about the slight possibility that the temperature go up a couple degrees over the next century.

I had managed to forgot about that so thanks for the “duck and cover” memories. We should list all of the great scares from the 60’s and 70’s. I will add The China Syndrome and DDT.

Yep, and as a fellow X-er, I could see clearly from initially learning about the environmental movement that it was an evil movement whose goal was to control private property that those in the movement could not possess otherwise, and to trample on the property rights of our citizens.
