I respectfully disagree that the lack of parenting produces a psychopath. Maybe in some cases, such as some of our serial killers, who were known to be abused. But to blame it on the parents? No.

What lack of parenting does is force the children to be brought up by ‘the streets’, which normally includes sex, drugs, and rock ‘n roll, and excludes the Church, Jesus Christ, and any real moral teachings. A strong, respectable male influence is also frequently lacking.
While some people have rose above such circumstances, many do not and the result is not usually pretty, even if they don’t turn into a bona fide psychopath.
My view is that good parenting (mother and a father) produces far superior results for the child and society at large that the alternative.
