I thought I would post a few thoughts. This image is now running around out there, without attributing the work done here at RFNJ:
I have not made any conclusions here [at RFNJ] that James E. Holmes belonged to any particular occupy group. It seems that only here at RFNJ can you see the truthful source of this image. For any OWS participants who come here, I will only say that I find admitting truth to be a liberating experience.
I draw an inference from the YouTube upload of this carefully edited video that it was NOT produced by the song artist James W. Holmes. iTunes shows this artist published other works that enjoy greater popularity. Yet, the creator of HolmesCollection at YouTube uploaded only one production, with "Keep Love Alive," as the sound track, and "hate" sounding at the appearance of an image appearing to be James E. Holmes.
I dare also say that a person more often than not knows of a namesake that enjoys great popularity. Here, it seems that James E. Holmes may have taken pleasure with hiding in plain sight.
Today my prayers are with the victims.
Wait a minute here. Are you referring to Obama's birth record? Fast and Furious? Or a cover-up which has not been uncovered?
You don't think people are aware of these things mentioned above, complete with supporting documents etc?
what the hell do think they've all done with the freak in the White House???
BTW the way, it's understandable why the White House would coverup wrong doings....Big time politics, power, $$, and all that.
So this begs the question:
What would be the motive for the FBI, law enforcement, an army of media/individuals researching his background, and all his friends, family and acquaintances for lying or covering up after the event?
And those cops are from the NYPD, not San Diego.

Of course he can’t. This entire OWS/black bloc theory is based almost entirely on some Florida private investigator named Bill Warner. If you google “Bill Warner black bloc,” you will see that he has been warning anyone who will listen about the black bloc idiots for months and months, even years (yes, years - even though the black bloc idiots are currently associated with OWS, they’ve been hanging around leftist protests since well before there was an OWS). He’s obsessed with them. It’s unsurprising that when something like this happens, his immediate reaction would be to blame the black bloc idiots.
I know about the PI and how others here think this guy somehow has pertinent information. None of them have a clue including Mr. frithguild.
Funny, with technology available these people don't think the FBI/LE can locate criminal records nearly immediately, because they might be in another state. Incredible ignorance.
NYPD does not take prints for a nonclassified misdemeanor. Do I have to tell you people everything about how it works?
1. NYPD will take prints, even for violations, if they need them in order to identify the subject. Happens often in mass-arrest situations (like OWS protests), so oftentimes everyone in such a situation will be printed.
2. In any event, the photo at the top of this thread is clearly incorrect. The photo posted at the top of this thread says "OWS San Diego," and the cops are clearly NYPD.
So, I'll ask again - any evidence that this guy was OWS, or is it pure speculation, like a lib would do?

I am with you lj, but have been following the initial weird Mohammed Alam report. Here is something interesting from another thread. The post following the linked post elaborates.

That’s just the same picture, along with some pure speculation about the picture and video.
This appears to be the same individual in the above article, shortly before he is dragged away by the police. The caption reads:

It does not appear to be the shooter James E. Holmes.
Interesting, but few similarities - where did you get it?
You assign no significance to the editing of the video and the timing of the lyrics?
Huh? Look at his beard, under his lip. Look at how his ears sticks out of his hair. Look at his curly hair. The biggest difference is from his coat, but you can see why in both photos. In the photo where he is standing, he his coat is down low, tight around his thin body. When he is being carried, it is bunched up to his chest, making him look pudgy, and exposing his jeans which you can't see in the other photo. But it is the same man.

Is there some portion of this investigation ongoing in NYC?
Anything to do with his uniforms in the picture? Where did Holmes get money for an AR-15, a Remington 870, a Glock 40 cal, if he had no job? What about the price and availability of body armor?
Yeah, all speculation, but it completely debunks the arguments both of you have made that the guy in the picture cannot be Holmes because the police have said there is no criminal record because the FBI and police always tell us about all aspects of an ongoing investigation.
