"Perhaps the bottom of the graphic showing Days 1 through 6 could be proportionally changed using Dr. Schroeder's calculations in The Age of the Universe:"

Ah! Schroeder's The Age of the Universe! I have just read (yet again) nearly all of my copy of Schroeder's Genesis and the Big Bang -- and was unable to locate those calculations. No wonder! :-}
Unfortunately, neither I nor our local library has The Age of the Universe. Thanks for providing a link to the "Age..." passage in your comment!
I set up a quick little spreadsheet to do the same calculations, and Schroeder's sequence, 8, 4, 2, 1, .5, .25, .125 does, indeed, match a universe with an age of 15.75 billion years.
BUT... the currently published age ofthe universe is 13.75 +/- .11 billion years (based on the CMB data from WMAP).
Running Schroeder's calculations for the currently published age of 13.75 +/- .11 billion years, gives the "lengths of the days of creation" series as
Day 1 = 6.98 billion years
Day 2 = 3.49 billion years
Day 3 = 1.75 billion years
Day 4 = 0.87 billion years
Day 5 = 0.44 billion years
Day 6 = 0.22 billion years
Day 7 = 0.11 billion years
(...with the 7th day (in both instances) calculated "for grins" to see how it might "fit in".) Curiously, the calculated 7th day duration equates to the absolute value of today's current uncertainty/tolerance on the total age... Hmmmmm... '-)
Per your suggestion, the newly-calculated "day/'yom'" durations are already "plotted in"...
Thank you, dear Sister in Christ, for your great suggestion and assistance!
