You got it! And WHO is trying to convince us that SAD was in an image with the other Class of 1960 girls? Who wants to convince us that her mother is standing next to Stanley Ann Dunham
THE DAUGHTER!
As I tried to say, one photograph of a girl with weird hair, a sweater and pearls, doesn't make a graduate from Mercer Island High School. They won't show us A FULL PAGE
AND the faces of the other students have been CROPPED so we can't recognize or trace them.
Exactly! Because my family moved back and forth from towns, I didn't actually get to graduate. But I wanted to feel a part of that anyway so I went to the studio where the Seniors had their pictures done dressed in the sweater and pearls that all the senior girls wore for their graduation picture. I wanted to send some out to friends.
She’s not smiling, um, because she, uh, couldn’t afford the sweater? Yeah, that’s the ticket.
So there would have been plenty of sweaters and pearls images to choose from...IF they happened to need one for a 'graduation image from Mercer Island', that is. Can we be forgiven for thinking that's what went on?
A couple years later and a couple years older than him, I got separated from my parents at JFK (New York) when coming back from overseas. I just got waved through. No questions asked. No nothing. I had to wait on "our side" while my family went through the passport and baggage check at customs. I even had a big bottle of liquor sticking out my bags that only got a smile from one of the security guys. One would think if JFK wasn't worried about a lone kid, Hawaii wouldn't have batted an eye either. Remember, that was long before 9/11, long before TSA gropes, back when airlines went out of their way to make flying a pleasant experience, and back when stewardesses would accompany kids so they wouldn't get lost or scared.
The French Club pic looks like a boys face to me.
In the one without sweater it looks as though the eyebrows have been painted on.
Sans sweater hair looks like a brillo pad.
Sans sweater hair looks like a brillo pad.
What, like little girls can’t dress up to have their picture taken? I still have my little girl bracelets and necklaces and some of them show up in pictures of when I was little and I wasn’t a twin. At no where along the way has anyone ever suggested Anne was a twin.
Most likely she didn't because she remarried before the divorce was even filed (according to one of her passport applications) so support wasn't a concern. It's not like she or Barry had had any contact with dear ol' dad, so why start now. Besides, it'd have been a waste of time since he was at Harvard or soon in Kenya and in those days there were no attorneys who would bother going after him for nonpayment.
If we could see the entire photograph rather than a cropped portion, it would be easier to compare the lighting and if others were looking elsewhere or if someone else didn’t have a sweater. It’s obvious this has been cropped because there is another person on right side of the bottom row.
She always looks like she painted on her eyebrows. Of course, in those days, women did paint them on. And very garishly, I might add. Hair was also over permed, sprayed and damaged so I don’t see what all the talk about weird hair is.
I agree that their can be some suspicions regarding the facts encapsulated by these pictures. However, on my examination they appear much less likely to be photo shopped than many of the pictures provided which allegedly document BOH jr.’s life, such as the airport picture and the park bench picture.
I am talking about this on a qualitative scale, meaning that they could be manipulated, but appear to have less obvious photoshop work than these others. Do you agree?
I was thinking last night; what other evidence is there of the Dunhams living on Mercer Island?
And I assume that the reference in “Dreams” of SAD and Chicago is in case some truth surfaces?
