The good people are deliberately kept out of the leadership positions. That is why we have Boehner and McCollum in the top jobs. Can you tell me what is sterling or special about these two that they would be the ones to be picked to be the leaders of congress? The big money controls the process and it happens off the floor of congress. The people who control politics in this country do no want anyone with any integrity and guts to be in leadership positions. They only want people that they can control.
