Great. We’re now falling into the “diversity” trap ourselves. What should count is the competence of the governor. The GOP by far have the more competent and successful governors.

republicans would do well to make some Youtube vids - hope for a viral - that says DemocRATS think they are fun till you realize they hate smoking, hate drinking under age of 21, even for a GI, they hate slurpy,they hate french fries and pie; all they really favor is treating women badly - see Bill Maher - and then having an abortion so the man is off the hook.

Years ago a liberal friend (really, that was the old days) was puzzled that I could be both conservative and open to folks from other races, lifestyles, opinions, and such.

When I explained that being conservative meant judging others by the sum of their actions, values, and abilities...not by whether or not they looked, believed, or partied the way I did; he sort of went blank.

Unfortunately, I have the feeling that there are many here on FR who would find that equally confusing.
