At least with Romney conservatives have a seat at the table, which is vastly superior to the current situation.

Disagree. Conservatives have to leave the conservative table to join Romney at the liberal table. And that is the biggest mistake we can make. Redefining conservatism in Romney's image will undo all the progress made by the Tea Party in one fell swoop. Better to have the republicans join us at the conservative table by learning its the only way they win.

Throughout the primary, I agreed with you wholeheartedly but now, not quite so much. Please allow me to explain why.

Assuming that Romney is the eventual nominee, that is who we have as a viable alternative to Obama. He is not the conservative alternative and he is not the face or voice of conservatives and I don’t believe that anyone believes otherwise.

We failed to get a conservative so we are in a fall back position of removing Obama and then we must be better prepared in 2016.

If Romney is every bit as bad as Obama (and he could well be) at least when we criticize Romney, the worst that we’ll be called is religious bigot and that doesn’t have quite the sting of the other false charge of being racist and it will not be as effective.

I am voting to remove Obama, nothing else counts right now.
