Unless you’re thinking of vigilantism then no, he has no fear of the noose. What he did wasn’t treasonous - just stupid.
If gutting 235 years of “limiting principle” and giving the Fed more power to tax us into submission isn't treason; then the word has no real meaning. And yes he was stupid too.
