Inspirational FLAG scene from THE PATRIOT

In this short clip from the 2000 movie "The Patriot" Benjamin Martin (Mel Gibson) finds a patched up American Flag in his son's saddlebags. A flag he'd carried constantly up until becoming a casualty of war the day before.

Not celebrating this year. I will only celebrate when we have freed ourselves from the current tyrrany. Our republic is functionally dead guys.

One can imagine such events happening. Under HIS almighty hand. A nation was created, for a given purpose, that within it's reality, brought forth all the goodness of HIS intentions for mankind. NO use going further. Most of us understand. Time for this old guy to retire. Well past what should be my bedtime. Do have a blessed upcoming day.
