Amen. Compared to the trillions of debt we've run up, some will, no doubt, say that $200 million is chump change. But you must start somewhere.
I live near Jamestown, NY which is one of the recipients. Buffalo, which is the 2nd cheapest airport to fly out of in the country with some 100 flights a day is about 65 miles away. The program serves as nothing more than a subsidized convenience for the well-to-do and a talking-point for the Chamber of Commerce.
All in all, rather like light rail.

If the GOP wants to further abandon rural America then good luck with that. Many cities receiving the subsidy are not like Ely (which I'd venture to guess most calling for eliminating all subsidies cant even pronounce) and may have one or expensive flights a day. Folks in rural America pay taxes and for many this is the only thing they get back. By the way how many billions do our 500+ congress critters get as salary and perks for themselves and their staffs
Kill the small towns and you kill any hope for this country..
