Jesus only confronted one group: those who in the name of the only religion ever established by God Himself not only did not truly believe, but practiced the worst of hypocrisy in God’s name. I.e., they totally misrepresented God to His people.
The Muslim’s fall into a completely different category - unbelievers, believers in another religion. Jesus never confronted those with pagan beliefs - and there were plenty to confront.
Our Lord took a brutal smacking for our sakes also, so the bar of comparison you used here is controversial and over simplified. HE was missionary in his approach, provoking no man to anger but for the message itself. Christian conversion efforts are not usually among the lowest forms of human interaction.
