AZ didnt win anything and the court did not uphold any laws. The court bounced it back to the 9th to give them another chance at destroying it. thats all. They are asking 9 to come up with more to take the law down.

The Supreme Court DID uphold the constitutionality of a key part of the law... it might be only temporarily upheld as the 9th court can still hear challenges to it... but for now it is upheld and AZ will be allowed to enforce the key part of the law

This is what the AZ Governor had to say about today’s ruling:

AZ Governor Brewer hailed the decision as a “victory for the rule of law” — in reference to the one provision that was upheld. “After more than two years of legal challenges, the heart of SB 1070 can now be implemented in accordance with the U.S. Constitution,” Brewer said.

If true, not good, as the 9th Circus is just that, only a bad one to boot.
