The name of that leader was Adolf Hitler; those new laws were known as the Nuremberg Laws.
The Reich Citizenship Law stripped Jews of their German citizenship and introduced a new distinction between Reich citizens and nationals.
Article 3: The Reich Minister of the Interior in conjunction with the Deputy of the Fuhrer will issue the necessary legal and administrative decrees for carrying out and supplementing this law.
...Any leader who can arbitrarily GRANT citizenship, regardless of the laws already on the books, will also feel that they have the right to arbitrarily TAKE AWAY a persons citizenship, if they so choose.
We are a nation of laws, and the people who are elected to public office are bound by their Oath of Office to uphold the laws that are on the books. In this country, there are procedures for getting laws on the books, and NO public official is allowed to circumvent that process by declaring that he/she will not follow those laws.
If a leader gets to decide who is and isnt a citizen, then at some point, they will feel that it is their right to just unilaterally decide that they can make ALL of the rules.

Will he also be making himself a citizen? :)
Someone who is not an American citizen gets to decide who is an American citizen?
I am old, this is beyond the pale, can anyone explain to me why we have a kenyan president?
Blessings, Bobo
He is the Chief Executive of the United States Government. Huge difference!!!!
Correct that he does not have the authority or the power to do an end-run around Congress.
Obama is not a king! He needs to know that, more than anybody else.
Why he could declare them on permanent recess one day, and no one in the enemamedia would say a thing.
And if he tires of his citizens he can order drone strikes against them any time he wants.
Good Post !.... This administration can now decide who is a citizen or not and -— “By the way, in the envelope with your new green card is the number to call to place your donation to the President’s campaign and a voter registration card as a democrat”-—
The following is an e-mail sent to an un-American immigration lawyer in Western NY following her appearance on a local TV channel defending our dictator’s unilateral amnesty.
I loved the straw man you tried to set up on Channel 2 this evening regarding the children of illegal invaders possibly becoming someone who developed a cure for cancer.
I suppose then, given your position on the unknown potential of someone here illegally, you will also be on the front lines fighting against abortions as who knows if your fake straw-person might just be killed by an abortionist.
I won’t hold my breath.
It is amazing just how you lawyers can distort our laws to the point nobody seems to worry about obeying any one of them.
You do have an IQ high enough to know the President CANNOT bypass congress in this manner RIGHT? Can’t wait to hear your spin on our Constitution and the separation of powers.
If the President (any of them not just O’blame-o) can use Executive orders for just about anything then tell all of us why do we need to pay for congress?
Going back to your straw man, for future information, just what crimes do you want to forgive if someone develops a cure for cancer?
PATHETIC!
