They tried this in the early ‘90s as well. It comes, it goes. Not to worry unless you see it at Wal-Mart.

It was tried earlier than that. In the early 1970s, I worked for a department store in downtown Philadelphia. They tried selling panty hose for men back then as well. Basically, they looked like a pair of black dress socks that went all the way up into a pair of jockey shorts made of the same material. This product bombed big time.

That’s funny, as my source for the early 90s was a lady who lived and shopped in Philly (s Baltimore Ave)
