I did not saying its trivial. You tell me what it will accomplish other than a great side show all the way to election?
It would demonstrate that our representatives finally understand and have regard for their oaths of office and the Constitution.
What could be more important?
The belief that someone else will not keep their oath is not a legitimate reason not to keep your own.
Honorable people understand that they must keep their oath made to God, even if every other officer of government forsakes theirs.
If we're not willing to stand up for our Constitution, then what the hell use are we? What's the point of even being an American? Tolerating and making excuses for this crap is no different than giving Old Glory the crotch salute.
