There was a previous mention that the doors clicked open, but the early reports state that the passenger window was “rolled down.” It would be nice to talk to this Avila guy about it before he ends up missing. Who really knows what the heck happened, but 2 vehicles and 10 armed men spells hit job.
They knew who they were going after and why.
I just read the story about the doors unlocking automatically when the vehicle was put in park. If that’s the case, then I would think that the window got rolled down on accident as they were fumbling desperately to hit the door lock button. Definitely still sounds like a hit job to me, because why would they stick a gun in the window and start shooting if the attackers were trying to commit a robbery or kidnapping?
