Trayvon Martin is exactly why we need this law.
“Shoot First” law?
If that was true, there’d be WAY less thugvon martins.
We are in bizarro world.
Don’t do drugs you’ll end up like a thug and you’ll make your mother sad and
you’ll make your father mad. Don’t do drugs, drugs are bad. Don’t do drugs,
drugs are bad. And you’ll make your mother sad.
M’kay?
Justice for Zimmerman!
Zimmerman didn’t shoot first. Trayvon punched first, then beat Zimmerman’s head on the pavement second, third, fourth,...
Yeah, they want it replaced with the “Duty to Die First” law.
I T and skillets for everyone.
What a load. Someone needs to tell these two pixies that their 15 minutes are up.
Not much of a future in shooting second.
THIS IS WHY we need less internet time and MORE TIME AT comission and legislative meetings.
We must go to these events to drown out the lobbyists.
Remember the trial lawyers want to reinstate civil libility.
Wonder where these signatures came from? If you have a problem with Florida law; keep the hell out of Florida. Especially if you have criminal intent.
This comes from limiting self defense, and trying to twist it into our strange legal system. ‘Why did you shoot him?’ ‘I thought he was going to hurt me.’ That should be the end of it. But then it became ‘Well, couldn’t you retreat to a safe location?’ which then gave birth to the ‘Stand Your Ground’ law which said you didn’t have to..
End these useless and conflicting laws. Make self defense a valid legal defense and END IT THERE. Stop trying to make laws for every exception. Exceptions are...exactly that, exceptions.
Trayvon’s parents need to explain why there were traces of marijuana in their little 12 year old boy’s blood.
Nope.
Let's face it -- these 'activists' don't like this law because it means that their 'good kids' might end up on the losing end of their 'young and wild' tendencies.
That's all there really is to it.
I thought Trayvon Martin was killed because of self-defense by George Zimmerman while being beaten on the sidewalk. Are they suggesting that self-defense laws be eliminated?
They support a “Die First” law...
Media will love the “shoot first” mis-characterization though.
Could it be because Trayvon's school suspensions, truancies, marijuana use, trespasses, backpack of jewelry, postings on his Facebook page, suspicious behaviour that night, and assault without mercy on George Zimmerman might all then become matters of record demonstrating the wisdom of SYG???
So his parents are admitting he attacked Zimmerman ?
