Read this old article by David Maraniss and compare it to the claims he now makes in his new book about Obama. Funny how things change. Reviewers currently credit MARANISS with finding records that Stanley Ann left Hawaii for Seattle within weeks of “her” child’s birth. I am now under the impression that they are all counting on people having the attention span of gnats and the memories of blind moles that live in tunnels underground.
To a certain extent, Maraniss and Gilbert for example, are counting on that. They can claim ‘discoveries’ we discussed four years ago.

New and recent members show up on these threads filled with righteous indignation as if every word they utter is something new. Tiresome.
The initial version of the Seattle/University of Washington story was set out in an article by the husband or ex husband of one of Barry's cousins in October of 08 in which he tells you straight out that the baby was left in Hawaii when the mother appeared in Seattle.
That story was rewritten because taken together with the birth in Hawaii in August story, it wasn't credible to believe Stanley would have done that had she been the real mother. The problem with the early version was further that there was no record of the baby in Hawaii--not with Senior; not with Stanley's family.
