I think you said it very well. And it was very amusing, the contortions that Burger put himself through, to “prove” my racism immediately after mentioning all of the “brown” (his term, not mine) heroic characters in my novels.

The man is really hung up on racial identity politics. I don't think he has a single clue about what it means to be an AMERICAN, or how that can transcend race.
