I hate to rain on DUmmie sabrina 1's parade, but she is forgetting two things about the democrat senate "victory".
1. There is another senate election in November and Republicans are widely expected to pick up at least two seats because of redistricting. Which would put them back in control of the Senate.
2. The Senate is out of session and will not be back into session until early next year, unless called into emergency session by the governor. Although the Senate could meet anyway, they have no power to introduce or pass legislation outside of an offical session.
