Wow! what a great song. Tears still in my eyes thinking of our two that God is holding for us. The pain will be relieved when we meet them there. Thanks for sharing.

This is the first song I've ever heard about losing a child through a miscarriage.

Perhaps the most powerful song about the loss of a child is Sonny Boy, a smash hit for Al Jolson in the fall of 1928. Other versions of the song by Gene Austin and Rugh Etting toned the message down.
