It can't be that difficult to prove beyond any doubt the status of his citizenship and until there is no doubt he shouldn't hold an office requiring citizenship.
The Twentieth Amendment, Section 3 places the burden of proof squarely upon the one seeking the office. It places the burden of verification upon Congress, who must then name an interim President if there is no proof provided.
I see this damning situation evolving one of two ways.
Either we will decide NBC no longer matters or the future will see a requirement that a candidate prove eligibility beforehand.
You need to get your terminology straight. Nobody disputes Obama’s citizenship—rather, what is in dispute is whether he is a NATURAL-BORN CITIZEN, as the Constitution specifies is required to be President.
