Secretary of State Ken Bennett said Tuesday evening that he has received an e-mail from officials in Hawaii, which he believes contains the information he sought to verify President Barack Obama's birth certificate.
"By requesting the verification I can now report to thousands of constituents that we did what can be done and he is qualified to be on the ballot," Bennett said.
Bennett said he had not actually opened the email as of 7 p.m. Tuesday, but was confident it contained the information he asked for.

Remember, the birth certificate was probably always clever misdirection. They wanted people thinking about the birth certificate, which suggested that they always had a document. Chester Arthur, who became president when John Garfield died, used the same ploy. Arthur concealed all his personal documents, dropping lies here and there to keep the public occupied. Just before he died he had his personal documents burned. It took until 2008, when Leo Donofrio was reading material provided by an Arthur biographer, and gathered from some remnants saved by Arthur's family. Donofrio found Chester's father's naturalization forms, dated 14 years after Chester's birth. This was late 19th Century, close to the 14th Amendment, Minor v. Happersett, and Wong Kim Ark, where the parental citizenship requirement was never in doubt (Wong Kim was denied natural born citizenship, though born and raised in San Francisco by ‘domiciled’, but not citizen parents. Obama’s father was never, and never planned to be a US Citizen. Read our naturalization oath. Naturalized citizens swear sole allegiance to our Constitution. That reflects the requirement that the most important executive, protector of our rights based upon the Constitution, have inherited allegiance from citizen parents.
Donofrio, in early 2009, penetrated the ploy, realizing that the intention was always to make the birth certificate a distraction. Look you filed the first law suit, former assistant Attorney General Berg, an ardent party operative and Hillary supporter. This was well planned long before the election. Obama was probably born in Hawaii. Look at the sources of the latest ‘leaks’. We are seeing very clever propagandists at work, distracting the public from the Constitutional issue.
Well, Bennett did say that HI told him they would tell him how to reword his request. I believe that meant the requested info list needed to be reworded, and NOT the authority that he (as SOS has) needed to “prove” so HI could comply.
There was an “attached form” mentioned in one of the emails Bennett sent to HI, and I see nothing of that mystery form of requested info in this Verification letter.

Prosecutor: in 2012, when you verified Obama's vital records, why did you omit the words that it was "a true and accurate representation" of Obama's vital records when the Arizona Secretary of State asked you to do so?
Onaka: the Hawaiian Attorney General's office on behalf of the DoH negotiated with Mr. Bennett to accept different wording for the verification, so we did not have to meet the 'true and accurate' document standard.
Prosecutor: why would the state of Hawaii need to negotiate with Mr. Bennett if Obama's vital state records are nothing but and only true and accurate?
Onaka: you'll have to asked the Hawaiian attorney general's office for clarification...

Onaka: I am exercising my 5th amendment constitutional rights. I refuse to answer on the grounds that answering the question may incriminate me.
The RINOs want Rubio or Jindal even though neither of them are NBCs. The fix is in. If Obama wins the constitution is offically dead as far as the rulers are concerned.
Mitt’s father was born in Mexico to TWO US CITIZENS, meaning he was born a US CITIZEN.
Obama can’t claim the same since his only parent that was a citizen was not old enough to transfer US citizenship if Obama was born outside the US.
If he was not naturalized, and born outside US (INCLUDING BEING BORN 2 YEARS EARLIER AS HIS FIRST MYSPACE SAID IN HAWAII), he isn’t even a US Citizen, much less natural born.

Parents don’t need to be natural born citizens for the child to be a natural born citizen, the parents must be citizens at the time of the child’s birth in the US.
I was just reviewing Onaka’s statements and noticed a few things.
1)
“I verify that the information in the copy of the Certificate of Live Birth for Mr. Obama that you attached with your request matches the original in our file.”
Presumably the COLB referred to is the COLB posted on the internet.
“Verify” means to “make certain”
Onaka “made certain” that the info in the copy of the COLB matches the “original in our file”. Original what? Original COLB image? Or official vital record?
2)
“I certify that the information contained in the vital records on file with the Department of Health was used to verify the facts of the vital event. Alvin T. Onaka”
Onaka certifies that the information contained in the vital records on file with the Department of Health was used to “make certain” of the facts of the vital event.
He hasn’t certified the information presented.
Onaka “certified that he verified”. How about the typical attestation “This certifies that the above is a true and correct copy of the original on file”
Too much to ask?
I hate to argue what the meaning of “is” is, but HI DOH credibility has been questionable, their statements can’t be taken at face value.
NDAA is the National Defense Authorization Act (of 2012)
It was signed by Obama December 31, 2011.
It, disputably, gives statutory authorization to the President to designate a person as an enemy combatant subject to indefinite detention without charge or trial.
There is contention over whether US citizens are subject to these provisions.
I took no comfort from Obama’s statement while signing that he would not use it for citizens, which only implies that the Act does authorize such.
The Act is ambiguously worded.
Get that? INDICATING, as in implying. “Verifying” would have been the correct word there. “Verifying” leaves NO wiggle room
Yeah, notice they didn't say a birth certificate ISSUED BY THE STATE OF HAWAII. All they say is that they have a BC "on file" INDICATING he was born in Hawaii. Well, the BC copy he attached with his request would now be a 'BC on file" since it is part of an official record. They didn't say where on file and what file it was in.
It is reasonable to request and receive a certified "true and correct copy of the original vital record on file"
The crust on these people challenging AZ SOS authority to request records. So much for "full faith and credit". So much for "Aloha".

Where’s the Bible? Although not a requirement of the Presidential oath, it is customary, and much was made at the the time of the Inaugural Immaculation that a Lincoln Bible was being used, and Zippy did use a Bible at the 1/20/09 event.
