Occam’s Razor: In my opinion you’re asking the relevant questions and pointing out the most likely “explanation”. So one would think that Mark Steyn’s Occan Razor approach would go with what you’re suggesting.

But, basically, what just about everyone (including “mainstream” conservatives [e.g., Mark Steyn] who want not to stray beyond the outer limits of the politically correct reservation) WANTS TO BELIEVE is that Obama (in the present) tells the truth about “things”. Any discrepancy with things he said in the past MUST BE that he was LYING PREVIOUSLY. There can be no other accepted explanation.

Oh my, the madness of crowds.

Interesting..... You seem to process this like a psychological profile to explain a flaw of in Mark Steyn’s Occan Razor logic. Maybe you are right.
BUT, I look at it as my humble contribution to a body of ideas. My input is what I see as most likely closer to the truth.
Maybe I am wrong but I am happy to speculate.

You see, because the obummer is such a liar, those of us conservatives who seek and understand original intent, are forced to speculate. But this makes me happy because I know by posting on this forum, we peel back the layers and slowly reveal the truth. It must be driving them crazy.....
