That is simply a lame excuse for not taking care of business. Let me tell you why I say that...
Sure, some tough times could be coming for which a person needs to prepare to survive. But nobody knows how long those times are going to last - it may only be for six months or a year. And, once it's come and gone things might start to get better than ever (for those who survive).
So, you want to "be dead" rather than endure a few months of hardship that our forebearers might have considered a cakewalk? You want to "be dead" when other folks you care about might need you later?
I guess there's a million excuses not to do the due diligence necessary to get through tough times - but yours is not in the top 10 list.
Let me give you a better excuse ... how about "I'm not preparing because I don't think the crap will ever hit the fan"...or, "I'm certain the government will take care of me.". Try these on for size, they are much better. :)
well maybe so but since 2008 things have been so difficult for me the situation is already dire
