I think the politics are such that our “leaders” won’t move to fix the problem until there is serious civil unrest. And we aren’t there yet. Because if they did try to do the right thing, the pain would be such that they’d be voted out of office.

People don’t like the deficit, but they like any concrete action to fix it even less. And, yes, that includes FReepers too.

You and I are in agreement. That is why I expect this all to end with hyperinflation.

It’s like a bad tooth.

Either you go to the dentist and endure the pain now, or wait until it abcesses and becomes infected. Then it is REAL painfull and expensive.

Looks like our rulers are chosing the infected option.
And they laugh at preppers? Bet they are doing some prepping on their own. Like where to run to when the shtf.
