Lax law enforcement and oversight from federal and STATE authorities allowed a climate of unrestrained corruption to grow up in Detroit over many years.

Former governor Granholm(D), former Attorney General Cox(R) current Wayne County Executive Ficano(D) and a whole host of others in politics (congress state & national), unions & business (enablers). The city/county/state has been a cesspool of corruption for decades. I do agree that Kwame is by far the most corrupt in the history of Michigan and has caused more damage than any one individual.

Whenever the idea of harsh and perhaps harsher due to their position of trust penalties comes up for politicians or appointed officials we hear a cry of ‘chilling’ effect from both sides of the isles.
Don’t they understand we want a chilling effect? We want them to govern the people and not favor a few special interest groups? This really is not difficult to understand.
Pensions and perks must be on the table too. These people should die penniless.
If you want an example of where this all leads look no further than the headlines from Greece. The people in power lied for years upon years about their financial state. Where are the big televised trials?

Detroit was the shining city on the hill, built by private business money. Now that the government has taken over, driven out most private business from Detroit, the once thriving city on the hill is nothing more than the shit hole controlled by government, forcing everyone to pump their hard earned tax dollars into this bottomless pit.

Until government gets the hell out of the business of “cradle to the grave” cuddling of Americans and private business returns to Detroit, the shit hole will continue to sink into the pages of history!

I think the reason they dont want to report this story is they are too close to Chicago where Obama reigns supreme along with the Ballerina and the other crooks Valerie Jarrett,David Axelrod and the First Crook Moochelle in the White Hut. The only thing that matters to the media is that Detroit produces a large enough plurality for Obama that he carries the state.

The Republican candidate has not carried Michigan since 1988. In most cases, the Republican nominee has had more votes in the remaining counties of Michigan than the Democrat, but the Democratic plurality in Wayne County has given them the state. In 2008, Obama's margin in Michigan exceeded his margin in Wayne County.
