Yes they do. Self discipline, determination, hard work, critical thinking and self sufficiency are anathema to ideologies that require powerless clients and supplicants.
It also proves that America is even now a place of opportunity and welcome, if a legal immigrant can go from refugee to business and property owner in a decade or two.
