As Mitt Romney prepares for his second presidential campaign and gay marriage threatens to undermine Americas Judeo-Christian culture, theres a raging debate about the role he played in instituting gay marriage in Massachusetts during his gubernatorial term. This is important because Governor Romney has positioned himself as a champion of traditional values and claims to have been an opponent of homosexual marriage his entire career.
When the Massachusetts Supreme Court issued a decision in favor of homosexual marriage, the Goodridge case Romney unilaterally ordered his state agencies to implement homosexual marriage in Massachusetts. The court did not order him to do this nor had the legislature codified this ruling. Combined with a promise by President Obama to repeal the federal Defense of Marriage Act, this action by Romney has led significantly contributed to the spread of homosexual marriage nationwide.
Make no mistake; Romneys action was utterly illegal. In four different parts of the Massachusetts Constitution, it is clearly stated that only the legislature can change laws and one section specifically states that the marriage statutes are determined by the legislature, not by the courts. Even the Supreme Court itself stated that it could not order the legislature to act. All Romney had to do was to declare the court had no authority to enforce its unconstitutional opinion and ignore its decision.
But instead of doing that, Romney abruptly claimed the court opinion was now the law of the land and ordered his Town Clerks and Justices of the Peace to marry homosexuals even though the legislature never acted to codify the ruling. Indeed, according to a Fox News/AP story, the attorney for the homosexual plaintiffs in Goodridge, held the view that the legislature would have to codify the Goodridge ruling:

No, - it hasn't - especially if I have to read the threads carefully to understand what the hell you're talking about.
Again, why would I spend my time refuting opinions from a site about a candidate that I don’t support? And by the way, here is the whois for massresistance.com

Do you notice something similar to romneyexposed.com? Here is a hint, once again they hide their ownership behind a proxy. Now I will ask you again, why do you think they would do that? Is it Soros, I don’t know, but I won’t bother to read from a site that hides its ownership.
We understand. Not everyone has the intelligence to understand the truth. Stay in your bubble! It's the safest place for you!
By the way, amycontrada.com also hides its funding behind a proxy. Spectator.org is honest about theirs, so of all the places you mentioned, they might be worth considering. Once again, why would I spend my time refuting opinions from sites that I have never been on, don’t know where their funding comes from, especially when I don’t particularly care about the candidate? You say you are voting for Goode? That is your choice, and at least you are being honest about it. But seeing your homepage screed against Mccain, did you vote for Paul last time? Because if you believe everything on you page, there is no way you could have voted for Mccain last time, is there?
Did you vote for Mccain last time or not, simple answer will do. I like him less than Romney, cause he has done nothing but stab us in the back for decades, but I still voted for him, because I researched and knew what Obama is. I am a conservative, that means I do my own research, I don’t rely on what someone post on a webpage that hides its ownership.
OK, here is the sanity test part of this - do you expect him to win? Or maybe even have a chance?
And how do you propose defeating Obama?
And by the way as far as me proving who is funding those sites, that is the point, I have no idea, that is why I would question anything found on them. I will bet you that it isn’t Romney funding them though:)
See, we found something to agree on:)
This place just keeps getting weirder and weirder.
It’s a nice dream , but just a dream
In 2016 the Republicans will put up another loser who’s turn it is and the Conservatives willbe stuck aming the same decision they face now.
The Devil or the Deep Blue Sea.
Yes even a goat. It has nothing to do with Conservatism it has to do with facing reality.
Dreamers can afford to dream, but the reality is we may survive Romney, but Obama is a ticket to hell.
I live in the real world Pal, you live in a make believe world. You can $h!t beside the road but you can’t keep blaming it on Fido. Go ahead and vote for Obama, my only hope is you live in a deep red state and your vote won’t really matter, it’s the electorial votes pal but you’re probably not smart enough to know that.
Of course you do! Of course you do! [pats your head]
If a bubble exist then you are the one that resides there. I refuse to argue with someone that is one egg short of a dozen !! It’s clear that you not only oppose Romney but you are clearly an Obama supporter. Enjoy your Government check and pray for our country !!
