How was Santorum supposed to know there would even be an Obama”care”?

Guess the criteria of being a Newt supporter is to be devoid of common sense.

“The Truth Regarding Santorum’s Endorsement of Arlen Specter
October 12, 2011
“The reason I endorsed Arlen Specter is because we were going to have two Supreme Court nominees coming up,” said Santorum. “I got a commitment from Arlen Specter that no matter who George W. Bush would nominate, he would support that nominee.”
excerpt http://blog.lisagraas.com/2011/10/12/the-truth-regarding-santorums-endorsement-of-arlen-specter/

Santorum said Alito would not be a Justice if it weren’t for Specter. Specter was very effective at being the head of the Judicial Committee. Toomey would not have been the Judicial Committee leader, plus Toomey might have lost the election at that time. Specter won the election by a good margin.

OK, now it’s YOUR TURN. Care to tell me why Newt endorsed Dede Scozzavave?

National Journal? At least you have a sense of humor.

Now let’s see what CONSERVATIVE groups thought of Rick Santorum:

American Conservative Union — 88%
National Right to Life Committee — 100%
Americans for Tax Reform — 95%
National Tax Limitation Committee — 92%
U.S. Chamber of Commerce — 88%
League of Private Property Voters — 94%

“When even Ron Paul has beaten you 8 more times than you have beaten him, it’s a very sad thing. Continuing to lose to Paul should have been a wake up call for Newt to drop the heck out, but Newt will only follow where his ego leads him.”

Yup.

So much vile bile for a man who has done so much for conservatism. Such overkill. Why not think up a term like “Gingrichism” to get your jollies.

Speaker Newt Gingrich may be out of the primary but he isn’t going to stop shaping the conversation.

Just as Governor Rick Perry, Newt will be in the Left’s face shaping arguments in clear terms. Perry and Gingrich will never stop their fight against socialism nor back away from championing American exceptionalism and strength.

Why the perverse need to tear down a good man? What’s your angle?

Early on the field was very crowded. Some of us conservatives were with Bachmann, others with Santorum, Cain, or Perry. But who would have ever thought that any conservatives would have rallied around Newt Gingrich of all possibilities? Considering that Newt last held office in 1999 and had a coup held against him in 1997 by the conservative wing of the GOP. Considering that Newt stepped down in shame after he led the GOP to the single greatest loss in Congress that ANY party in history had ever suffered in the 1998 midterm elections, who would have thought it?

That's what did it. Newt shows up on TV what a decade later holding no other office to say here I am. As governor or seantor he could have built back some credibility he lost. Newt carried a very huge trust issue. That is what cost him the nomination.

BTW where was Newt showing up the most? FOX News wasn't it before he declared? Who was Fox News behind? Romney all the way. I'm not sure Newt's sticking around was because of his ego or by design. In any case Conservatives have been had.

All this is true. It really wasn’t too hard to see. Like a trainwreck it was.

Not that I see as of yet. You got a link to that sport? Santorum will do the same by endorsing Romney.

Yes, Newt already endorsed Romney:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2877311/posts

I have no problem with that, as Newt is just endorsing the lesser of the evils, but I do have a problem with the DOUBLE STANDARDS from the Newt supporters, when Rick did NOT endorse Mitt yet, but Newt DID.

Many of you Newt supporters have so much egg on your face, that we will only laugh when we read your user name. I’m not putting all Newt supporters in the same basket, but you know who you are.

Yes, Newt already endorsed Romney

Hello simpleton. No, Gingrich as of the 27th April in that dated article, and as of today that I've seen, he has not formally endorsed Romney.

From the article - "...Perry said, according to Reuters...."

As we see it was "Perry said" who endorsed but not Gingrich. My question to you was has Gingrich endorsed Romney as of yet. The answer is still categorically no.

Many of you Newt supporters have so much egg on your face, that we will only laugh when we read your user name. I’m not putting all Newt supporters in the same basket, but you know who you are.

Well, for someone who can't get the simple facts straight, no one should take your word for it or anything else.

when Rick did NOT endorse Mitt yet, but Newt DID.

It will be a two-fer for Ricky endorsing Mittens. The first one was in 2008 and he will again in 2012. And again Newt has not.

Newt endorsed Romney, in effect, when he continued on past Super Tuesday. Of course, he left his supporters with thinly veiled “deniability,” huh!?

Any thinking human being, knew a Newt win was not only impossible, but also not even the intent of his campaign.

Newt's intent was to siphon off the secularist conservative vote form the whole of the conservative vote...effectively splitting at the y the true religious conservatives from the secularist pseudo-conservatives, ensuring the globalist Romney nomination.

The secularist conservative identifies with Gingrich and believes the myth of separation of church and state.

These conservatives, much like the Tea Party conservatives, ultimately fail in achieving any real conservatism at all. Because without God...without morality, America has lost all blessings.

Of course, nobody is going tell these hyped up puffed up persons their business, so this will all go unadmitted, denied, and lied about. But, we'll all be begging for God mercy soon enough.

You’re another one who can’t read. Gingrich is likely going to endorse Romney soon according to the press but has not come out with it. Governor Perry is the one who endorsed Romney in the article that your buddy posted above in #54.

Gingrich has yet to suspend his election campaign and when he does his endorsement will follow according to the press.
