It’s a disgusting costume to wear and if this one done by US Gov’t employees at a US Gov’t function it is even more disgusting.
Really, I despise the Kennedys but JFK gave his life for this country and to mock that or mock his wife on what was no doubt a worse day than many of us will ever have is just unconscionable.
Now, as you say, if only we really knew WHO these people are, WHERE this happened, WHEN this happened, and WHY this happened, oh yeah and WHERE ARE THEY NOW, well, then we might know if it was important or just disgusting.
The photo appears to be fairly recent, as Christopher Hill (famous for the phenominal diplomatic sellouts to North Korea) went on to become US Ambassador to Iraq after that stint in charge of the US side for the ludicrous "Six Party Talks joke" in Beijing rapproachment toward sneaky, untrustworthy North Korea under Condi Rice, after all the good people in foreign policy left the second part of the Bush Second Term. So this is is the Green Zone of Baghdad--presumably at a Halloween Party, and "1991" was a misstype and meant to be a reference to "1961", which was the year of the pink Chanel creation that Mrs. Kennedy was wearing when her husband was slain two years later. So the photo is at least from 2010 or 2011, and I assume this is an Embassy personnel person with the US Ambassador, Obama's ambassador to Iraq. Hill is in fact "playing" the role of a Secret Service agent, not LBJ as mentioned earlier. Thus the dark glasses, ear piece, etc. Gee, all they had to do was splatter some fake blood on the pink dress and it would have been just like Dallas, November 1963. How quaint.
