Just heard about this - another forced program by this administration to try to change several thousand years of human history while wrecking today's Marine Corps.

We are stuck with our first Air Wing Commandant, hand selected by Rahm Emanuel for Obama.

The admixture of women into the infantry on top of the forced addition of openly-serving gays is a death knell for unit cohesion and combat effectiveness.

We can't get this damn bunch out fast enough!

I went through officer ITS 30 years ago. I was 25 and in extremely good shape. There were some training exercises that wore me ragged: long march, receive order, write order, issue order, implement order, finish mission, debrief, sleep a couple of hours and repeat. I’m not certain how many women can physically accomplish that schedule. Which only leads me to conclude thay they’ll modify the training.

Apparently, most of the readers here didn't bother to see that the piece is only about allowing women to be officers over infantry units in the Marines. "...allow a yet-undetermined number of female volunteers to enroll in the school that trains its infantry combat officers,..." "...to plan to open the Infantry Officers Course to women." "Officers," as differentiated from enlisted men who actually fight in combat.

Avoid buying. Become more energy and food independent. Have fun. Enjoy the slide.

I can see the training criteria now:

Men...run 3 miles in 10 minutes, with full combat gear.

Women walk 100 meters in one hour, picking 2 flowers each on the way.

Men hike 15 miles with full gear.

Women will get into buss's and meet the men at the finish line to give them lemonade and Klennex.

Men will do the low-crawl under the live machine gun firing.

Women will fire the machine guns.

Men will run the Obstacle 'A' Course in 6 minutes.

Women will sit in the bleachers and cheer them on.

Men will be required to shoot 95 for 100 with their M-16's.

Women will borrow an M-16 from a man and then be required to point it anywhere down range and pull the trigger one time with their eyes open.

Nothing like being combat-ready.

I have lost a hell of a lot of respect for the U.S. military, and I am a vet.

The government seems to corrupt nearly everything.

The Secret Service corruption fiasco is off the charts and beyond disturbing. It’s a perfect example of what has happened to government at every level.
