You are still saying that they are receiving benefits. Just a reduced amount. The fact is that they should receive no benefits period. I never stated that the program was bad you did. I simply stated that it will not end the problem. I happen to think it is needed, but the border needs to be closed, and the benefits they do receive have to be stopped as well. Illegal aliens will still be here even after this is past if it is past because they will work under the table and get some benefits as you have stated yourself. Please don’t give me your holier than thou attitude because I stated the obvious. This program is a start but not a end all. I support E-verify, but realize it has to have other reform to fully work.

That implication is totally false. Admit you were wrong, and move on. It happens. No big deal.
But for the record, since illegal aliens do NOT qualify for unemployment, welfare or EITC, and since E-Verify will strip away excuses for hiring illegal aliens, millions of illegal aliens will move back to Mexico, once they don’t have jobs. Not all of them, so we need to do more. But millions will leave. We know this because 2 million illegal aliens have gone home since the economic downturn.
Just because one measure doesn’t completely cure the problem doesn’t mean that someone wouldn’t have to be a complete idiot to criticize the program for “not working.” Which makes me highly suspicious, since I see you’ve also been recently asserting that Romney is no better than Obama.
