Why should social conservatives support Gingrich? Right her on FR Gingrich supporters bashed Santorum because he was an evil pro-lifer, unlike their guy.

I’m NOT voting for Romney. Let me make that clear.

But people need to wake up and accept that he is going to be the nominee.

The only thing that can stop him now is a dead girl or a live boy.

Barring that, I’m moving on to helping elect more conservatives to local offices and Congress. THAT is how we will win back the country. POTUS isn’t the only game in town.

If a groundswell of conservatives and independents throw Obama out on his ass and Romney benefits, so be it. We’ll primary him in four years.

This is not over – unless we roll over.

That would make a good tagline.

POTUS controls foreign policy, executive agencies and their heads, the veto, executive orders, judicial nominations. Congress is not enough. Obama must lose. Must.

As long as there is a not-Mitt on the ballot, people have a choice. It’s the media and GOPe who want us to hurry up and roll over.

I refuse.

So when does Santorum come out and indicate that he is aligning with Mitt, so that we can have “unity” or whatever?

I certainly DON’T expect him to support Newt. This “suspending” of the campaign stinks.

Maybe Santorum will be on the ticket with Mitt.

I admire your spirit. You have the right attitude.

However, don’t spend all of your resources trying to boost Newt. It’s futile.

Help conservatives win your local races. Send conservatives to the House.

I keep wondering what would happen if the folks in Pennsylvainia decided to ignore Santorum’s decision to suspend his campaign and choose to vote for Rick and his delegates and carried PA ?

I don't remember ever seeing a Newt supporter bash Santorum for being pro-life. Newt is pro-life so your statement makes no sense.I was mildly critical of Santorum because at times he seemed to be positioning himself to be the GOP Joe Biden - a gaffe machine in front of the press! Also his policy proposals outside of social conservative issues were conservative but superficial.

I voted Newt, but I think he’s done. Prove me wrong, I’ll be glad to be wrong on this one.

We all need to prove the MSM and the Republican elites are wrong.

Please donate time, money or just spread the word that Newt is not done. It will be a long but good fight because we are going against the MSM and the Republican elites.

The game isn’t over until Tampa—many things can happen until then. We must not give up hope—BUT the Conservative Movement must be ready for “Plan B” what to do if Mittens is shoved down our throats. Suggest we focus on House and Senate and the state houses—Win them not for Mittens and the GOP but for the Tea Party and Americans who love the Constitution. We will be forced to vote Mitt because even he—even if you think he’s Obama Light—is BETTER than the ONE we have in the White House Now. We know he has a business record—we know he plays ball with the Democrats SO if we give him a majority of conservatives in the two houses—he will play ball with them and not have to compromise—its a thread of hope for us!

“We will be forced to vote Mitt ...”

BULLCRAP.

We are not forced to vote for anybody.

And there is no way in hell he gets my vote.

So the Republicans better get it together and put up the right candidate. Like you said, the game isn’t over until Tampa.
