We know George Zimmerman will be charged. Heres what will happen next on the State Court level. There are now certain formalities that must take place as required by the US and Florida Constitutions. He will either be arrested or have an opportunity to turn himself in. An arrest is a good bet. But there are certain benefits to his turning himself in while accompanied by a lawyer.
He will be arraigned within a short period of time where a Judge or Magistrate will tell him what the charges are, the possible penalties, and set a bond. When setting a bond the official looks at the gravity of the crime, community connections, employment, criminal history, flight risk, substance abuse, and the like. It is also a positive if a lawyer comes in and explains how these factors apply to his client.
Where Zimmerman disappeared to will have a bearing on any bond. If he left the state, then all bets for a bond are off. If bond is granted, it can be personal recognizance, meaning that Zimmerman promises to attend all future court hearings or face a big monetary payment and probable immediate incarceration. Not likely here.
It can be a cash/surety bond, meaning that he has to get a bondsman to post the bond or the defendant must post the entire bond amount with the Court. This is possible.
In some states, there is a cash/or percentage bond set. This means that he can put up a percentage of the bond with the court and if he doesnt show up later he forfeits the entire bond amount.
Next, before everyone gets excited about a trial, since he will be charged directly by the Prosecutor with an "Information, and not charged by indictment by a Grand Jury, a Preliminary Examination...

How so we even know, if George Zimmerman has not been captured, or even killed, by the New Black Panther party, or some other bunch of vigilantes? This would explain why the attorneys supposedly representing him, have dropped him as a client, after claiming, as they did, that they could no longer contact him.
Dead or tied up and held in a dark room somewhere does limit the ability to reach out and communicate.
Or maybe the attorneys were also contacted, after George was “isolated”, and they were subjected to a very forceful and possibly overwhelming threat themselves.
Fear for one’s life and personal well-being is a strong motivator for some actions, that appear to be inconsistent and irrational.
I hope Jorge Zimmerman is in Peru.
There is no way he will receive a fair trial in Florida. The chance is great that someone will shoot him dead before he even enters a courthouse for a hearing.
Right...have to appease the "Mob".
Angela Corey is a COWARD.

I really need to move far, far away, to a place where this kinda crap doesn't affect me. Like Idaho or Wyoming. Just let the rest of the country burn.
So I guess there will be charges filed against the ‘racis’ prosecutor who failed in the face of the evidence to order Zim arrested and charged?
As a former Prosecutor of 25 years I prefer facts. There are zero facts to support your suggestion.
I’ve said all along he’d be charged. It is an EASY call for any attorney in this field. Conviction? Gonna be tough.
Most likely fled the country.

Why would him leaving the state have any bearing on anything. He hadn’t been charged so he can go anywhere he wants. He wasn’t running out on a bond. He was hiding to save himself from getting killed.
Any possibility he could be charged only with assault?

I see no suggestion in the OP — just an excerpt.
What *is* the suggestion that you say is unsupported?
The republican governor was a coward so he passed it off to a special prosecutor. She’s a coward so she passes it off to 12 “honest” people. And that’s where Zimmerman is probably screwed.
It could be Corey is taking it to court so all the facts can be brought out and “hoping” there won’t be a conviction. The problem, of course, will be the black jurors either wanting payback to whitey or feeling intimidated by their “peers”.
Happy now?
Agreed. I don’t know why him leaving the state BEFORE he was charged with any crime would change his chanced of a bond. But he has no chance at a “Fair” trial...and the judge and others will not allow a change of venue. If he gets convicted he will not last 10 seconds in a prison.....
