Folks, we have a choice. Assuming Newt can't stop Myth from getting to 1,144, Virgil Goode would be an excellent 3rd Party choice. He is an experienced, former republican from Virginia and is conservative down the line on the issues. For consideration.

I’m on board if he can convince Tim Pawlenty to be VP.
The ultimate ticket: Goode and Pawlenty.

Yep! He’s my man if the Constitution Party nominates him. He has no less a chance of beating Obamas than Romney.
True. So why waste any time on either one? There are better places to direct our efforts.
LOL ass.
Goode is rock solid on the border.
Yep... and I like his stance about muslims, too. You'd never hear THIS from any of the Groaning Old Paternalists:

Time to look elsewhere for our Presidential candidates since the GOP-E has stuck it to Conservatives for the last time.
A great way to get Obama elected. Let’s face up to the greater evil — it’s not Mitt.
Notice: FR is and will remain a pro-life, small government conservative site.
Listened to Mr. Goode on the 45 minute youtube video. Not sure about him. He doesn’t stand clearly enough on Medicare and Medicaid. (Maybe I missed it?) He can’t remember a historic meeting around the time of the 2008 collapse. He’s right on immigration. But there is so much more. I’d need to hear more and see more.
Thanks! I just “liked” the page. If we can start a movement here and get him 10% or more of the vote, Maybe they’ll get the message and we will get an acceptable republican candidate in ‘16.
Spread it far and wide!
Screw Romney and the GOP-E he rode in on!
I don’t know his stance on Medicaid. His stance on medicare is to save it for the folks who have paid in. His foreign policy and dedication to sovereignty are excellent I doubt he is perfect, but he is the best one running that has a snowball’s chance of being on November’s ballot.
I’ll keep diggin. Maybe I can find out. Something somewhere has to give. That’s for sure! Thanks for letting us know about what’s going on in the Constitution Party. I am also looking into the America’s Party.
I don’t care. I’m not about to reward the corrupt, decrepit GOP-E with my vote, and if it crashes and burns because of its arrogance and backstabbing, then so be it.
This year, that argument doesn't carry the same weight. Romney doesn't stand a chance of winning in November anyway, and the establishment types knew that all along.
So, rather than again grumbling about the chronic tendency of the GOP to put forth the weakest general election candidates it can find, some of us are seeing that this situation leaves us with a rare opportunity. With Romney's chances of victory essentially nil, we can undertake a low-risk promotion and advancement of a long-needed third-party option and build upon a meaningful future for the conservative movement.
The GOP's viability as the "house" of conservatism is at its end; thus it no longer generates hope for a dynamic future for those holding right-of-center political philosophies. The estabs hate the influence of the Tea Party and want more than anything.. even at the price of massive defeat.. to boot the "interlopers" in order to hold the shrinking reins of power in the party.
Well, I for one say, "take it; I'm gone." And I thank many here in FR for helping me to see the light about that POS Romney. I'm amazed I ever considered casting a vote for him.
So here we are once again... the tired old practice of "picking the lesser of two evils."
I've been doing that ever since Reagan left office. No thanks. Even after the misery of eight years of Obama, count on the Repubs to do the same sh*t in 2016... trotting the blandest form of moderate milquetoast of a candidate they can get away with foisting upon us.
