Wow, their corporate executives are really on the ball.
That particular controversy was over about two weeks ago, and had they just continued to not say anything, nobody would have noticed. But by chiming in *now*, they get nothing out of the deal but abuse.
Their parent company is Roark Capital Group, and weirdly as all heck, is named for Howard Roark, the fictional protagonist in Ayn Rand’s novel, The Fountainhead.
Its current managing partner is Neal Aronson. He has given only six thousand to the Republicans, while supporting both John McCain and now Mitt Romney.

Arby’s was owned by Wendy’s for a few years. Wendy’s finally dumped them last year. Wendy’s stock is finally recovering, and is actually a pretty good buy right now.
