FinancialSurvivalNetwork.com presents:
The lastest jobs number was abysmal. GM's cars are rotting in the dealer lots, and there's just too much negative news to fullly absorb. The debt in Spain falls mainly at the Fed, and there's no possibility of saving the system because it died a long time ago. There's no way to bring the Zombie Banks back to life. So start saving your silver and gold because there's going to be a major upswing shortly. Forget the short term swings, look back over the past 10 years and think where you'd be now, if only you invested in the metals.
Ty's perspective has been proven right over and over again.
Forget gold and silver. Invest in *brass & lead* (food & water, too). When TSHTF, throwing gold and silver coins at rampaging mobs won’t work very well.
My porfolio of brass and lead is very thick.
Mine too, DP.
It’s not just GM cars rotting in the lot. I took our 2007 Volvo S-80 in for service yesterday and the service guy informed me that the service staff had been cut by half. While I waited six hours for the 60,000 mile service to be completed I waked around the lot and noticed the large number of *new* 2010 model cars on the lot.
I’m not making any conclusions, just noting that it isn’t just GM that’s having problems.
“When TSHTF, throwing gold and silver coins at rampaging mobs wont work very well.”
I disagree. You can load dimes into a .12ga shell and they’re pretty awesome when you let fly.
I’d never thought of that! Excellent, but not old real silver or gold. The new stuff I wouldn’t mind wasting on the mobs.
Do you need a rifled barrel, or will a smooth bore work, too?
A smooth bore would be best. Don’t think I’d want to wreck a decent slug barrel doing this. I’ve got a Mossberg 500 so swapping barrels is pretty easy.
I’ll give it a try; thanks! (Bench-fire, first...)
