Wouldn't wish it on anyone but, yep.

I'm thankful every time I get through a day with the red stuff still flowing where it is supposed to. I was focused on the slips 60 feet down when my gloves caught a wicker, a split second? (time gets weird) later I was hanging by tendon. Then I had to climb down that tower one handed.

Yes, theoretically most/all accidents are preventable, but...the point is you never know when the hand you are dealt bites no matter how fast or strong or attentive you are. S*** happens very fast.

OMG...how horrible for you!

I’m always amazed by those who consider themselves impervious to injury due to their ‘extreme vigilance’.

There’s a very good reason why it’s called an ‘accident’; nobody -planned- for it.

Prayers for all who work with dangerous equipment.

[every year we have ‘farm accidents’ galore, hereabouts and it’s -not- those farmer’s first trip to the rodeo...stuff happens in spite of you, sometimes]
