I’m certain Newt will spend a lot of time in Texas. He’s money short, but he has your wonderful Governor Perry with whom to travel.

Romney won't be able to stack the audience in the Lone Star state. Rick Perry and Chuck Norris may round em up and bring em in...keep those doggies rolling..lol. I love this and thanks for the good news. COME ON TEXAS! VOTE NEWT!

The Newtster is the only one who gets it.
It’s getting frustrating, seeing a few folks around here come out for Romney. One of them has “Go, Mitt” as his tag line. Last night I asked him if any of Romney’s liberal positions——abortion, homosexual pandering, socialized medicine-—bothered him. He said, “Nope.”
What the heck?!?
To: GeronL
I think they need to totally rearrange the primary process, put the more liberal states at the back
Look at who the party is run by and seems to favor - "moderates", or liberals as I like to call them.
Besides, within 10 years, Texas will be voting Democrat anyways.
5 out of the 6 largest cities in Texas went for Obama in 2008, and Fort Worth was closing to making it 6 for 6. And in 2008, more registered voters either voted for Obama or didn't care if he was elected and stayed home, than voted for McCain.
Dallas elected an openly lesbian sheriff, Houston an openly lesbian mayor. Hispanics are about to pass up whites as the largest group in Texas, the Democrats are already kissing their asses, we seem to be getting more and more liberals and RINOs from California, New England, Florida, and elsewhere, not to mention the illegals.
My grandkids are young, and there is a good chance they won't be old enough to vote in the last election that sees Texas still voting Republican in the presidential election.
Makes me feel really weird to think about it. Over half my life, Texas was Democrat, then the latter part of my life, it was Republican, now it's going back to Democrat, only I don't think it'll be like the Democrats of the old days. I think it'll be the Obama Democrats.

It's a very simple explanation.
When Obama is pro-abortion, pro-homosexual, pro-socialized medicine, pro-gun control, it's bad.
When Willard Romney is pro-abortion, pro-homosexual, pro-socialized medicine, pro-gun control, it's good.
Because Romney has an (R) next to his name.
Make sense?

Ive gotten to where I dont care who is the next president - as long as it is not Obama. From what I read here I gather that most people would want Obama again if the Republican nominee is Romney. Fine. Screw our nation to satisfy ones ego and call it ethical.
Maybe the Republicans are as stupid as the Democrats claim.
Want to know who is stupid?
Going back 24 years, to 1988, the GOP has nominated an unbroken string of moderate pro-big government RINOs who were the nominees either because they had the most money or it was their turn, or both. They either lost to Democrats, or gave us more big government, or both.
George W. Bush - it was "his turn", he was a fan of more government, turned the White House over to a Democrat.
Bob Dole - another liberal/moderate, it was also "his turn", lost to a Democrat.
George W. Bush - wasn't technically his turn, but it would soon be his turn and he had the most money anyways, and he gave us the largest, most expensive, most intrusive, and most powerful federal government in our history (until Obama topped him this year). Bush did it with the blessings of a Republican Congress no less. He then turned the White House over to a Democrat.
John McCain - Another RINO whose turn it was. Lost to a Democrat.
If in 2012 we nominate another moderate RINO whose turn it was, and who has the most money, we will continue the trend of losing to Democrats or getting more Big Government.
We can't blame the Democrats for over two decades of nominating RINOs for the White House. Unless they have been crossing over and helping those RINOs win, and I wouldn't put it past them.

I guess to party hacks, it must. :(

If Texas is able to deny Precious Willard enough votes to get the nomination, they would be doing the country a great favor.

We basically told Romney that if he does not go to the debate then we will take it to mean that he does not care about out large Republican state and therefore he should not get any of our delegates. A conservative party wouldn't think of giving any delegates to the most liberal governor in the history of the republic.

A conservative party wouldn't think of giving any delegates to the most liberal governor in the history of the republic. The Rockefeller Republicans have hated conservatives since the time of Goldwater. In '80 they insisted that Poppy Bush join Reagan on the ticket (it was either that or Ford as "co-President").

Yep. But the time for such foolishness has passed. The republic cannot survive any more of it.

It would be a dream come true.

Yep. But the time for such foolishness has passed. The republic cannot survive any more of it. Agree wholeheartedly. The Tea Party tried after 2010 to wrest control away from the GOP establishment, but the Stupid Party fought back and gave us Weepin' Bohener. Will the Tea Party do better after this election and send the RINOs into minority status? I'm hopeful but barely.

The tea party died when Sarah decided not to run, and so did our nation, not that I blame her, the liberals would have ended her life.

Too bad Jim Bowie isn't around to challenge that creepy cultist coward MYTH ROMNEY to a game of mumbletypeg.
I'd pay to see the KOLOBIAN buy his way out of that.
Wonder if the Bishop has ordered magic underwear with the Presidential Seal yet.

There are several critical, fundamental problems that the Tea Party never addressed. Some concerning principle, some concerning process.

Thanks for the revival ping, onyx!
To hear media tell it, Romney is IN and we’re OUT.
Come to Texas, Newt!
Texas jacks back when messed with!
Recommend Texas Republicans get the local scoop for their precinct meetings following the close of the polls on primary night, and show prepared to make sausage!
This is where RULES and platform begin. Be there and do it, Texas!
